Missions and Outreach
Mission of the Month
Each month, the congregation is invited to support a designated mission by donating requested items or making a monetary donation. The missions we have supported include: Feed a Hungry Child Pickens County, United Christian Ministries, United Methodist Committee on Relief, Aldersgate Special Needs Ministry, The Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, and many other ministries. The Mission of the Month will be described in each monthly newsletter. Please contact the church office if you have questions.

Soul Seekers Outreach
Do you have an evangelist's heart? Do you have a sense of urgency to share the Gospel and love of Jesus? If so, join the Soul Seekers ministry team at St. Andrew Methodist Church.
The Soul Seekers meet on the first Saturday of every month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A light breakfast is provided along with a training session, and then the teams go out to various places and share the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our next Saturday Outreaches for the 2024 year are:
November 02
December 07
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.”
Luke 19:10

Other Ongoing Missions:
The Lord's Fund
The Lord's Fund is an ongoing account that serves as a life line to those with needs in the church. Through the Lord's fund the church is able to help congregation members and local families with medical and pharmacy bills, home and transportation repairs, and emergency food, gas, or clothing costs. Please donate to the Lord's fund so that we can continue serving the least of these as their needs arise.
United Christian Ministries
In addition to special mission emphasis months, St. Andrew United Methodist Church offers continual support to United Christian Ministries in Easley. Congregation members are asked to donate peanut butter, jelly, and boxes of macaroni and cheese to this mission. Other items that are always needed for this community food pantry include: Rice, cereal, dried beans, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soups, grits, canned meats, canned meals, and fruit juice. We also collect plastic grocery bags to use which are used to distribute food orders to United Christian Ministry clients. For more information, click here: United Christian Ministries Website.
